Night Jar (tall)

Made in West London, the Night Jar is thrown from a smooth, dark stoneware clay, with the light porcelain slip applied by a specialist Japanese brush known as a Hakeme.  The glaze that is applied before the final firing reacts to create the beautiful final texture, almost resembling a metal.
