Fire Bowl I

This striking and unique bowl is created from flecks stoneware and decorated with a copper oxide.  It is fired with a simple glaze that is made from ash and clay giving the distinct final appearance.  Reaction of the glaze with the clay during the final firing reacts differently depending on each clay.  

 

The shape of these bowls means they look beautiful as a centre piece on a dining or centre table, or placed on a coffee table where you can appreciate the finish that appears inside the bowl.

 

The bowl is food safe but is not recommended for liquids.
